    http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/sports_magic/2009/02/nelson-injured-in-third-quarter-vs-mavs.html

Magic all-star point guard Jameer Nelson dislocated his right shoulder playing against the Dallas Mavs on Monday night.

Nelson left the game with nine minutes, 11 seconds left in the third period, either fell or ran into Mavs center Erick Dampier. He ran off the floor in a bent-over fashion after appearing to injure his right shoulder.

He was replaced by veteran Anthony Johnson.

The Magic do not have a third point guard. They did not replace Mike Wilks after Wilks sustained a season-ending knee injury in the preseason.

Nelson was named an all-star reserve for the Eastern Conference last week, and could now miss his first career all-star game.

Who will take the guys spot on the all star game?

If it was anyone I would say a snub like Al Jefferson but since they would need a pg im thinking Mo Williams?

Al Jefferson is in the West, they need a guy from the East, Mo Williams is the likely candidate, or possibly ray allen

Mo Williams vs Ray Allen OR VC

I like VC, he can do some special things

but Williams and Ray are on winning team but for the Fans VC.

i always wished they would choose ability to entertain over overall talent. honestly, i would prefer to see dunks all night from the likes of dwight, lebron but also those that didn't make it but would make it awesome like jason richardson and andre iggy

I know it's unfortunate for them, but I wonder if we can offer them Luther Head as their "3rd PG"?

They said it's not the serious dislocation so he'll only be out 3-4 weeks but MRI is tomorrow.

I am not surprised. The Magic always seem to have 2-3 injured guards or small forwards. It's been going on since Grant Hill.

Mike Wilks, former Rocket, went down in the preseason with a season ending knee injury? That sucks! I liked him...

I dont wish any ill will to the magic but is their anyway we can captalize on their miss fortune? Is their anyone or thing that would help us in return for luther head.

There are certain people on the board who would want JJ but we all ready have a log jam at the 2/3 and frankly ever one we have out side of luther head is better then him.

    So any ideas?

I was going to say they might go with Head since their blueprint for success is surrounding Howard with 3-ballers....but then I realized they already have a sniper devoid of ball handling skills in Redick.

Redick can actually handle the rock pretty well for a 2 Guard.
He just has absolutely no court vision at all.
