Just tuned in. 1. I can't believe this game is on ESPN instead of network TV (ABC). Times change. 2. Nick Saban and Urban Meyer had awesome comments on how to defend Auburn, especially Saban. I never listen to talking heads in any sport, but that was 5 minutes well spent. I might even stay tuned in at halftime to hear those guys again. I strongly dislike Saban, but he laid it out plain & strong and I'll be watching UO's defense to see if they follow his suggested scheme.
I love how Cam Newton told that fan that wanted a high five to f*** off. Go Auburn and win me some money. Unless you score more than 72 points total, then go Ducks, destroy those stupid hillbillies.
right up until kickoff i wasn't sure what was going to happen and then as soon as it was kicked off it just seemed like auburn was going to win big. would've been nice if thomas wasn't a complete moron on 2nd down, one of the worst decisions to pitch this side of reggie bush.
He got away with the mistake. One thing about Thomas is he has been very good about recovering from early mistakes. We can consider Oregon's 2nd possession like hitting the reset button. If you haven't watched Oregon much, their defense starts slow and ramps up. If they fall behind, they can easily come back.
not a real surprise when you have 37 freaking days off. Its ridiculous that we have to wait until January 10th to get a game.
Makes you feel old when you see Jeff Blake's son playing. Well, any time you see the offspring play, it makes you feel old.
even the camera man had trouble figuring out that thomas actually held on to that and took the huge sack instead of giving it to james for the TD. he has been "throwing the game" awful so far.
He's made mistakes early in games and recovered, but nothing close to this. If Oregon loses a close game, this is where they lost it. Could be 14-0.
