I'm far from a bandwagoner. I graduated from Auburn last May. Both of my parents, and all four of my grandparents graduated from Auburn. I haven't missed a home game in 9 years, and just booked my trip to Glendale. I've been through the good times and the bad with Auburn football. I wouldn't call that a bandwagoner.

What part of the post is bull? That Pac 10 has one bcs championship, and that was USC in 2004 when an undefeated Auburn was left out. So far, no reason not to drink the kool-aid.

"Four SEC programs have combined to go 6-0 in BCS championship title games and the conference has claimed the past four."

What are the tasks of an Ass Coach and how do you become Ass Coach of the year?

what would you expect Oregon fans also like to boo injured players

Oregon has an average defense, on a good day. Pretty much any decent offensive team that they played would put up near 30 pts. Their entire defense is built for playing with a lead.

The offense is fun and exciting but don't underestimate the time that Auburn will have to study film and gameplan. Granted, Auburns defense isnt that great to begin with.

Oregon has a solid chance to win but let's not get too crazy with the green tinted glasses

OK, and what does that have to do with this year? I get what you're saying... the SEC is tougher than the Pac-10... and I would agree with that. But, bringing up the BCS championships from the past means NOTHING this year. Alabama isn't the same, Florida isn't the same, LSU isn't the same... Are they tougher than a lot of the Pac-10 teams? Yes. But none of those teams are BCS championship caliber teams right now.

I'm not saying that the SEC isn't tougher... because it is a lot tougher than any other conference. But, you can just dismiss the fact that because a team didn't play in the SEC, they wouldn't beat an SEC team. Ex. Last years Longhorns... they had a GREAT shot at beating an Alabama team (a team better than this years Auburn team) while they were in a conference that wasn't that spectacular last year.

I just don't believe you can use past BCS championships to merit how tough the conference is this year. I can guarantee you that if Auburn played last season's Alabama... they wouldn't be going to a BCS title game right now.

I think that you make some good points. I was just responding to the post that Auburn was going to "blow out" Oregon. And I don't know if I would say guarantee that last year's bama would win. If you recall, we were winning the entire game last year and blew the lead, and we were nothing compared to our team this year.

You never know what to expect in the Iron Bowl.

You might as well throw rankings out the window because both teams always bring it. We saw that both last year and this year.

Auburn will beat up the ducks; it won't be close. I vote for a playoffs.

Or if you live in Alabama, you could just go down to your local Wal-Mart and buy a Capital One Bowl shirt

Seems as though Oregon will be the slight underdog as of today, so I think I'm going to pick them to win. I'm not rooting for either team, but I'm hoping it's a great game.

Just 4 more days. CAN NOT WAIT!

I love how everything is about Auburn. Cam Newton this. Auburn defense that. How's Oregon going to stop Auburn?? Blah blah blahhhhhhh. I love how Oregon is flying under the radar. That's when we're most dangerous.
