well, I wasn't listing my top 5 PG's. Just throwing out 5 guys most would take over Lowry. Of course there's still guys like Paul and Rose. Some might even take Jeff Teague.
I like when people think scoring point guards are everything.... Lowry's game and numbers are Lebronesque at the Point position
Yea, Its amazing how much Kyle has improved. When he was with the Grizzlies, I remember him having his (then) career night against us. Thats when I first thought he was something special. Then we traded for him, and I thought he was a great backup for brooks. Brooks was just such a good fit next to Yao with his shooting touch that I couldn't help but argue with the Lowry fan boys at the time. Then Brooks started to suck and Lowry developed a proper shot. Not much needs to be said from there on. I hated the fact that we pursued names like Melo over Lowry this season. When it comes to the impact on a team, I think Morey knows that Lowry could have made a bigger difference, which is why I never understood the need for continually chasing big names...unless he was following Les's wishes in terms of marketing the team.
Sure. To be a borderline allstar and now an allstar reserve he can score when needed. Reminds a lot of Billups another late bloomer, he needs go to the EC Finals ASAP to get more respect.
Each team was missing its ball-dominating player, so there was a whole lot more back and forth flow to the game and other guys stepping up. It was an entertaining one to watch, aside from the officiating.
Agreed. For all the hype DeMar DeRozan is getting he's not even in the same tier as Lowry. Lowry is a legit top15 player.
Raptors 123-104 Jazz. Toronto improves to 15-4. Lowry with 39 points, 4 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 steal.
Which is definitely why he stayed. To think he had this type of game the whole time he was here in Houston. Talk about a dude with no ego that was ready to wait for his chance.
nobody even really talks about derozan. like lowry he improved as well. not sure why you're taking that away from him when he isn't even really discussed when you talk about wing players in the nba. overrated gets used way too much
