Clutch did a Top 100 Rep Thread in 9/25/2009. It's not exact because it was later in the year, but post counts were in that chart also, the subtracted post count in that thread to the post count in this thread can give you a more exact efficiency number (provided that you were in the Top 100 back then also). http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=174821
Cool to see the distribution of where you were repped. I'm fairly balanced as far as where my rep comes from but it's funny to me that almost 20% of it comes from the GARM when I hardly post there anymore (I post mostly in the Hangout and Texans forums), but not being able to watch the games will do that. Crap. I was #42 on that list and now I'm #68. I'm slipping. #67? You are now my rival and I must break you. Some of that has to be taken with a grain of salt because many posters built up their post counts prior to the rep feature being added.
Very clever! So, to take my example, that would mean (I don't know how to do tables...). Year Posts Rep Rep/Post 2013 29621 2682 2009 15983 84 Diff 13638 2598 0.19049714 Test: <table cellpadding="5" cellspacing="1" border="1" ><tr><td>#</td><td>Username</td><td>Post Count</td><td>Reputation</td><td>Reputation/post</td></tr><tr><td>1</td><td>AroundTheWorld</td><td>13638</td><td>2598</td><td>0.19</td></tr></table>
I would like to say that not a single one of my reps came from my basketball insight. And people rep down there in the D&D?
Sure. You'd have to take a spoonful of salt with reps from the D&D. I heard that they just patted each other's back in the gangs.
lol, and that includes a 5+ month semi-retirement btw, I've met like 25% of that list in person, is that weird???
I took that to mean the distribution of where your post counts are coming from, not where your reps are from. I guess I'm wrong, though, since mc mark has 0% Hangout....lol.
Clutch can provide a more detailed breakdown. But I took the rep table from 2009, did an image-to-text convert, and then took the difference between that and the current rep table. I found 54 posters showing up in both tables, unless I missed some due to a name change. Here's the table showing their "rep" stats since 9/25/2009: Username Posts Rep Rep/post 1 Clutch 4483 2983 0.665 2 Rockets2K 2571 1139 0.443 3 BimaThug 4498 1847 0.411 4 thadeus 4084 1550 0.380 5 B-Bob 4558 1638 0.359 6 Batman Jones 3735 1326 0.355 7 ima_drummer2k 7140 2452 0.343 8 Rashmon 4607 1437 0.312 9 KingCheetah 7501 2291 0.305 10 TheFreak 3167 936 0.296 11 rimrocker 4186 1221 0.292 12 finalsbound 3506 1022 0.292 13 ClutchCityReturns 3240 923 0.285 14 The_Yoyo 4903 1392 0.284 15 thegary 2635 713 0.271 16 bobrek 4468 1089 0.244 17 Deckard 9790 2369 0.242 18 SamFisher 8507 2020 0.237 19 rhadamanthus 5650 1302 0.230 20 Rocketman95 6642 1507 0.227 21 emjohn 5908 1297 0.220 22 justtxyank 8896 1930 0.217 23 JuanValdez 5628 1217 0.216 24 Dubious 4670 974 0.209 25 Carl Herrera 17179 3528 0.205 26 Invisible Fan 4823 986 0.204 27 Dr of Dunk 4182 835 0.200 28 The Cat 3925 782 0.199 29 moestavern19 13780 2706 0.196 30 AroundTheWorld 13623 2598 0.191 31 Hayesfan 3375 636 0.188 32 v3.0 7036 1319 0.187 33 MadMax 11751 1997 0.170 34 durvasa 11490 1951 0.170 35 Northside Storm 4303 691 0.161 36 Raven 6823 1075 0.158 37 Sweet Lou 4 2 5547 852 0.154 38 DonnyMost 20270 3026 0.149 39 FranchiseBlade 7388 1035 0.140 40 tinman 11758 1610 0.137 41 Major 8409 1120 0.133 42 Easy 6105 797 0.131 43 SwoLy-D 13698 1693 0.124 44 mc mark 7116 864 0.121 45 Kam 9579 1082 0.113 46 rocketsjudoka 12149 1363 0.112 47 Cannonball 7516 832 0.111 48 Ziggy 9958 1053 0.106 49 Uprising 8691 914 0.105 50 knote32 8990 944 0.105 51 ItsMyFault 8396 864 0.103 52 juicystream 11248 1027 0.091 53 DaDakota 32063 2329 0.073 54 A_3PO 13144 764 0.058 There are (in my view) some very high quality posters that are on the low end of this table, so I wouldn't say this is a perfect indicator of post quality or contribution. That said, the top 3 are obviously well deserved.
Following Aroundtheworld's lead: Year Posts Rep Rep/Post 2013 11591 1431 2009 5683 134 Diff 5908 1297 0.2195 <table cellpadding="5" cellspacing="1" border="1" ><tr><td>#</td><td>Username</td><td>Post Count</td><td>Reputation</td><td>Reputation/post</td></tr><tr><td>1</td><td>emjohn</td><td>5908</td><td>1297</td><td>0.22</td></tr></table> Wouldn't mind if someone was REALLY bored this weekend and created a third full table. Edit Update: durvasa ftw!
WTH does all this crap matter, anyway? This will sum it up: I'm not a popular fellow nor a well-liked individual, yet I'm 19th on the list of most repped?
It would be interesting if there were more stats, like: avg length of posts # thread-starting posts # images posted # emoticons per post It might be fun to see how they correlate to the Rep/post stat.
