Don't understand the complaints about Len Bias being omitted. He didn't have an NBA career at all, so nothing was cut short.
this is a dumb list .. first of all it only includes sort of current players .. and some of the players are still playing .. how can careers be cut short if they are still playing?
It's actually just the title that is off. If you read the first paragraph carefully, the point of the list is supposed to be only current or could-be-current players.
In the article it said the list is about this generation NBA players, like the players still around from last 10 years. Is it perfect? No. Is it "worst" "sucks"? I think not.
Where's Steve Francis? His stats are just about the same as Penny Hardaway's over the same number of years: Penny Hardaway Steve Francis Seriously, both of these guys could make spectacular plays for themselves and others, both were freakishly athletic, both were point guards that guarded their scoring stats more than the ball, and both were never as good after getting hurt. Penny gets the love because he was 6'7" and talked about loving Magic Johnson growing up, whereas Franchise talked about Michael Jordan and didn't know who Oscar Robinson was when he was asked about him during an interview.
This is probably the dumbest list i have ever seen... more than half of those players are still productive... their NBA careers were not cut short... no more posting stupid threads please
Having a career cut short doesn't just mean length, but success. His success has been cut short by injuries
