In the aftermath of Lebron winning his 2nd title, I think everyone more or less knows that he's a top 10 player ever at this point, so I thought it would be interesting to see where people think and how their greatest players list have changed. Not to mention, I don't think this thread has been around in a while. 1. Jordan 2. Russell 3. Kareem 4. Magic 5. Shaq 6. Duncan 7. Hakeem 8. Bird 9. Lebron 10. Wilt 11. Kobe 12. West 13. Julius 14. Karl Malone 15. Garnett
1. KAJ 2. Jordan 3. Magic 4. Russell 5. Duncan 6. Bird 7. Shaq 8. Hakeem 9. Kobe 10. LeBron 11. Wilt 12. Oscar 13. West 14. Garnett 15. Erving
1. Jordan 2. Kareem 3. Wilt 4. Magic 5. Bird 6. Russell 7. Kobe 8. Hakeem 9. Duncan 10. LeBron 11. Shaq
1. Jordan 2. Russell 3. Magic 4. Kareem 5. Wilt 6. Bird 7. LeBron 8. Duncan 9. Dr. J 10. Shaq 11. Hakeem 12. Cousy 13. West 14. Moses 15. Kobe 16. Dirk 17. Garnett 18. Oscar 19. Robinson 20. Barkley 21. Malone 22. Pippen 23. Havlicek 24. McHale 25. Wade
I suppoe there's 2 different lists, best and accomplished, they're different, but since this is best, well 1. Jordan 2. Magic 3. Bird 4. Wilt 5. Lebron 6. Hakeem 7. Shaq 8. Duncan 9. Dr J 10. Russell 11. Kareem 12. Moses 13. Kobe 14. Malone 15. Oscar
I assume this is "accomplished", not "best". Otherwise it wouldn't make sense to talk about the number of titles. I think when people say 'greatest', they generally mean legacy (individual and team accomplishments, and in general impact on the sport, dominance of the era).
1. Jordan 2. Russell 3. Abdul-Jabaar 4. Magic 5. Bird 6. Wilt 7. LeBron 8. Hakeem 9. West 10. Duncan 11. Shaq 12. Kobe 13. Oscar 14. Moses 15. Baylor Hondo, Dr. J and Barkley/Malone/KG knocking on the door
1. Michael Jordan 2. Magic Johnson 3. Larry Bird 4. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 5. Bill Russell 6. Wilt Chamberlain 7. Hakeem Olajuwon 8. Tim Duncan 9. Shaquille O'Neal 10. Oscar Robertson 11. LeBron James 12. Kobe Bryant 13. Moses Malone 14. Jerry West 15. Kevin Garnett
I don't think Lebron's better than Hakeem yet, but that's a terrible argument. Is Dirk superior to Lebron now?
1-MJ 2-Magic 3-Lebron 4-Bird 5-Kobe 6-Hakeem 7-Shaq 8-Kareem 9-Duncan 10-Wilt 11-Dr J 12-Oscar 13-Malone 14-Russell T15-Stockton (ugh) T15-Nash 17-Mosas 18-Barkley 19-Ewing 20-McHale That list is for best players, not accomplishments. If it were an accomplishment list it wouldn't really be an opinion, and it doesn't take into account the level of competition they were playing. Btw, I might not even agree with myself on some of these. It gets hard after the top 5 or 6... Lol
how is it a terrible argument? the divas joined the g*ngbang auditions in their 20s so they wouldn't have to do all the work, and as you saw throughout the series, both wade and lebron went games where they weren't even m.i.a. they went straight awol. Hakeem in the first championship could not take a night off, even in the games his team lost.
Okay, I'll give it a try: 1. MJ (6 rings) 2. Kareem (6 rings) 3. Magic (5 rings) 4. Russell (11 rings) 5. Wilt (1 ring) 6. Bird (3 rings) 7. Duncan (4 rings) 8. Kobe (5 rings) 9. Shaq (4 rings) 10. Hakeem (2 rings) 11. Lebron (2 rings) 12. Big O (1 ring) 13. Dr. J (1 ring) 14. Karl Malone (0 rings) 15. KG (1 ring) After that: West, Dirk, Barkley, Stockton/Kidd/Nash
1. Michael Jordan 2. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 3. Larry Bird 4. Magic Johnson 5. Wilt Chamberlain 6. Bill Russell 7. Hakeem Olajuwon 8. Oscar Robertson 9. Tim Duncan 10. Jerry West 11. Shaq 12. Moses Malone 13. Karl Malone 14. Lebron James 15. Kobe Bryant Numbers 2 through 6 are interchangeable.
Why are people putting Duncan over Hakeem ._____. Hakeem was so much more dominant it's not even funny
