what's up guys, i just moved to frisco area from houston (& also recent UT grad) and was wondering if there are any big sports bars you would recommend that would most likely have the rockets and/or texans games, a place with a lot of tvs. i know that UT games are usually at final final. i dont know any fans here and my landlord wont allow any satellite dishes. I would really appreciate your input and if you want a fellow fan cheering along with you, im your man
Just so you know, aznlincolnpark got banned by clutch last week for posting lone smilie faces. Supposedly, the CONDOR is the sportsbar with the most TVs in town -- it's in Northbeach, more or less. But I haven't been. Also, just so you can be really cool with all the new people you meet in town, the locals don't call it Frisco. It's "the city" or the full name. edit: also, fkw, you probably wanted to start this thread in the Hangout section, unless of course you're a well-diguised Houston Rocket.
i believe he was also banned for posting 2-3 word replys and never adding anything to the topic being discussed. maybe he has changed his way but i have him on ignore so i wouldnt know. as far as sports bars in h-town...the one i went to probably doesnt exist anymore. and i cant remember what the name was. on a side note i just played disc golf with a jazz fan...i fell so dirty. but he's going to hook up my hot tub for cheap so he cant be all that bad...can he?
