To The Mods or Clutch: I'm Tired Tired of Anonymous Annoying Messages via Reputation System

Would be interesting if Clutch could tell us who did this...

I didn't mind having an anonymous rep system until someone left a rep on my account using someone else username.

There's a lot of problems that can occur if we leave if like this.

Posters could use somebody else tag to anger someone.

The poor poster could get in a lot of trouble for doing absolutely nothing.

 

Yeah man somebody could go around posing as Clutch.
I wonder who would do such a devious thing though...

No need to use Clutch's tag anymore.

 

You'd know if Clutch repped you because you'd be instantly Hakeem status and your computer would probably crash.

 

Off Topic: Didn't want to start a new thread

Is it just me or are off topic messages now considered a violation? Some mod left me this nugget with a red dot

"Off topic TWICE on one page. Learn to consolidate your thoughts in one post."

Funny thing is I see off topic messages in every single thread. At least 30-40% of the posts are off topic. So is this something new? Or are the mods doing selective attacks?

Another funny thing was that the off topic was started by another poster. I just simply replied to two of the already OT posts.

I know it can't be Clutch because if it's Clutch I would have vanished by now.

 

Just FYI, clutch repping you doesn't do anything special. He has high rep value when he reps you because he has high rep himself, but it doesn't count for triple or anything.

He's repped me a few times.

or just maybe you don't see other people's reds. and yes, offtopic stuff will get harshed on exactly BECAUSE of all those offtopic posts.

Your problem is you choose to put each reply you make on a new post instead of putting them all on the same post with the multiquote function, if everyone did that then one offtopic post would have 50 replies....making the thread total crapola in no time flat.

I know most of yall dont care about that, but we do.

 

How have I never noticed that feature?!

I've always put multiple quotes into one post manually, by copying and pasting them into a different tab (quote).

 

Think Clutch implemented this feature one year ago or something like that.

 

I'm pretty sure Clutch only told the 99ers, and it is their duty to spread the message to the rest of us muggles.

 

Today is the first time I got an anonymous negative message via Reputation. It wasn't particularly insulting. Just called me "Debbie Downer" and tell me to "Get that **** out of here." I wonder why that poster did not just post it in the open in the thread. He/she is welcome to disagree with my somewhat negative take on the topic.

 

Hey, just wondering if there's going to be a fix about this anytime soon. I don't post much but I think I pissed off one guy. In about 11 or so days he's left me 3 feedback messages that got me feelin like da hell man? lol. I'm fine if someone replies to me in a thread and says "I don't agree with you" but it's just kind of bothering that someone will leave me a "Stfu" feedback after I have an opinion on something. I am sure it's all from the same person. I dunno. Minor issue that I can just ignore, but at the same time I aint really trying to have half of my latest feedbacks telling me to "Stfu" lol.

 

Don't mind me, I'm just tired...think I'll hang out here for a while, there is more leg room...
