We don't need Aldridge shooting threes. Right now, we have every other spot on the floor covered, except for Aldridge's bread and butter area. We can essentially guarantee him that every jump shot he ever takes will be wide open, because Dwight will have the paint and Harden/Bev/Parsons will be on the outside. The pick'n roll game will have a new twist with Aldridge as an easy elbow option. Teams would be absolutely unable to defend us in any capacity.

We need a PF like Aldridge to hit those open 15-20 footers, because we have so many available right now.

 

Jesus, people are stupid. Who in the world would want Aldridge when you got KEVIN LOVE. Who does everything you would want on the Rockets. He rebounds, scores from post and 3! His midrange is around equal to Aldridge. KEVIN LOVE OUTLET PASSES TO PARSONS! THAT'S GAME!

Unfortunately, this thread looks pretty sad after everything that happened.....

Before this season, I would always dream about our team pursuing either LMA or Love, and would debate which one would be the better fit. Kind of a pointless thing to do, but still fun to think about.

After this playoff series, I don't think it really matters much anymore. Portland had too good of a season and beat us, LMA isn't going to choose to come here.

Now, we should focus on trying to pry Kevin Love away from Minnesota. He is young like most of our team. If we could somehow get Kevin Love, keep Beverley, and find a good perimeter defender, we would be set!

It's the offseason....I have a lot of time to dream.
