TNT Barkley: I still think the Rockets are going to win this series

My reaction to Barkley actually picking the Rockets to win the series...

 

Barkley is just f***ing and trolling with us.

 

Some of us Rockets fans are funny. We cry about Barkley every Thursday not given us credit but now he said he think they r going to win the series now y'all got this & that to say. What do y'all want him to say w/o y'all getting n ya feelings?

 

I heard he got paid off to say that. Alright...which one of you'll paid him off?

CP's hamstring is no joke and will keep recurring in the heat of battle. We must play Brewer and Ariza when Redick and Crawford are on the floor together. Let James run point guard and check Rivers or Hudson. Only play Terry/Prigs when either of them are off the floor. The coaching staff must maximize our lineups and punish their poor bench. Our plus has to be over 10 to win the game.

 

In addition to probably trying to fire the Clippers up, Barkley has a history of making questionable predictions. For example, while on NBC (or ABC, can't remember), he "predicted" that the Nets and Pacers would beat the Lakers in the finals, probably just so people would still tune in since most people knew those teams had no chance at all of winning those series.

Like I said, Barkley's hate is on the psychotic level when it comes to the Rockets. He's basically jinxing the team he completely despises on national tv.

People can gripe about Harden all they want but Barkley best summed up the Rockets when he stated "there's not a single player on the team that's doing anything" other than Howard or Harden.

He speaks the truth. The only guy I see hustling is Brewer. We don't have one quality PG on the team and Smith is playing like crap. NO ONE is able to create shots or knock down open 3's. To put it in perspective, our staring PF and SF (Jones and Ariza) are a combined 2-10 from the field. Smith is 3-8 and 0-1 from 3. Our starting PG Terry is 1-2 w/ 2 FT's for 4 points and 1 AST. His backup PG Prigs is 1-3 for a whopping 5 points and 2 AST.

Meanwhile, neither Jones or Smith can handle Griffin. He went for 26 in the first half. That will now open up shots for guys like Redick, Crawford, Rivers, and that other no name player hitting wipe open jumpers.

 

If you're going to run a gimmick offense thats centered around jacking a bunch of 3s, perhaps its time to invest in a shooting specialist?!?

The rockets just play too stupid.

 

The rockets looks dead in the water and Barkley finally decides to give us some love. Weird. Les must have finally paid Barkley the money he owed him.

 

Win the series?!...Rockets will be lucky to win a game.

 

He also predicted SA to lose every series they went on to play last yr.

 

That's spot on. When you compare shooters on the Rockets compared to other teams there's no comparison. Terry is the only guy that you can't leave open but he's 37 and limited defensively. Smith? Horrible! Jones? Horrible! Brewer? Not good but streaky and can hit a few. Throw in the poor FT shooting and it's amazing we win ball games. If we win it will come on the defensive end.
