It's the NBA not the NFL. Basically have to murder someone before you get suspended.

The whole "we were raised this way" "back in the day we did this" logic is so stupid. There are plently of things that were ok back then, they are not okay now. We use to be able to smoke indoors, there use to be parents that raised kids to hate black people, it use to be okay to burn "witches", and there was a time when you said the word "f*****" and nobody batted an eye. I could go on and on about things that were fine in the 60s-70s but would never fly in this age.

Guess what? Times have changed and for whatever reason, how we were raised and certain things that were okay back then, is not the same as it is today. Look, i'm not taking a stance either way with this alleged domestic abuse story, but that argument about "its how we were raised/back in the day" is very weak.

I never said it was ok. I said a lot of us were raised that way.

I don't personally think it's okay to spank a kid with the leather end of a belt, but I understand that some people disagree. Ultimately the parent gets to make that decision.

But if it's true that he hit his kid with the buckle, that's abuse and there are no excuses.

Wait, so he only beat one kid? That means he is 11/12 in not beating kids, that's kid efficiency right there. Good pick up Morey!

Part of it is, if you are barely around, you 1) don't have any context/experience with how the kid behaves or what the circumstances surrounding his behavior are, and 2) overcompensate for not being there by overparenting/overdisciplining, because you want to make a lasting impression the kid will remember, since you aren't around much.

Terrible comparison. Comparing racism, witchcraft & smoking indoors to disciplining your kids is ridiculous. Child abuse is one thing, but whipping your kid to teach them a lesson is another. If you get a whoopin, I'm pretty sure you'll have a few bruises. It comes with the territory. What this is, is a ploy from Dwight's babymama to once again tear Dwight down. So many positive things she could be doing with herself and child, but she wants to tear down Dwight at the expense of their son smh. This ho needs a hobby

As someone who was whipped with a belt pretty extensively growing up, I dispute entirely the notion that whipping a kid with a belt is an effective way to teach them a lesson. Most parents do it out of frustration or anger and are being punitive. There are very few individuals who actually strive to be a better person because of some physical pain that was inflicted on them by another human being.

Braylon appears to spend a lot of time with Dwight. Not sure where you got this.
