I know right. Rick would let him play every other day and and he still got paid like folks who play every game!

Tmacs about to show the world hes on Marburys level!

Seriously though, I loved watching Tmac play, that "just give him the ball and let him work" feeling has been gone for a while in Houston now..

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the ommission of Daryl Morey. I'm not surprised given how things ended in Houston, but it is surprising that he seems to see Les Alexander and Morey differently.

I shed a tear. Tmac is my 2nd favorite Rocket of all time. I've got great memories of he and Yao together back when I had my season tickets. What could have been, smh

Kobe has to be wondering..."who the f$#@ is this Tracy McGrady guy?!?!"

I hope it works out well for Tracy in China. Sad to see his NBA career come to a close. His time as a superstar was spectacular at times but ultimately underwhelming. Despite the flameout in Houston, I wanted him to be able to realize his diminishing athleticism and catch on a role player on a great team. Now he can be the man on his Chinese team. He should make a buttload of money and get to eek out a few more years of playing.

Can Tmac retire a Rocket? Not meaning he gets his jersey up in the rafters but say that this is the team he identifies his career most with? I don't think he deserves it but you never know. I feel he deserves some sort of recognition from the city and team but I'm not sure what.

Wait...oh no. I can see it now. A tmac/yao halftime retirement ceremony. Retiring number 1 and 11 at the same time. Put a nail in the coffin of the 'my fault' era of Rockets history...

So a clue on if they will retire someone's number is if they don't give that number out right after that player leaves...

    here's the clue:

in the twilight of TMAC's career, he would have been an average basketball player to the fans. but in china, he will be like GOD!

hope that doesn't get to his head.

In most cases yes, but Tmac hadn't 'shut it down' until the past few days. Lamb got that number right before summer camp. I'm 99.9% sure they wouldn't do it but you never know...
