He was guarded by Kirilenko AND Fisher, who had him for long stretches in the third and fourth quarters. He should have easily torn up Fisher to bring those % back up, but he didn't. Fisher pushed him around, and Tmac did nothing but try and shoot jumpers. In fact, it was reminiscent of Lebron being guarded by Kidd in the Finals. (Kidd is at least 3 inches taller than Fisher)
25/7/5 are good stats, but it obviously wasn't very efficient. Lest you forget, Yao had 25/10 that series as well, but he shot 44% from the field.
It's pretty obvious that BOTH of them had pretty bad series, so don't try to make it to seem like Yao somehow let the team down when neither stepped up.

Well the Rockets fired their head coach. Guess it really wasn't "on him" after all.

    All of this is garbage

TMac never made it out of the first round

He is an all time bust-out.

any other so called "superstar">>>>>>>>>>>TMac in the playoffs when it counts

He was in the weaker eastern conference when he led the league in scoring but could not get the Magic out of the first round

Then, we all know what happened with the Rockets

LeBron on the other hand, led the Cavs to the finals.

TMac I will say again is the biggest playoff bust of all time

What a stupid thread. Tracy never had the chance to choke in the NBA Finals because he was too busy getting knocked out in the first round every freakin year, even when he had home court advantage.

Say what you want about Lebron choking, but he carried a pretty crappy Cavs team past the first round five straight years and he led his team to the Finals this year. The only time a T-Mac team could win four playoff games was when he was on injured reserve.

Were you sick of him when he led us past the first round for the first time in however many years it was? Something Tracy couldn't do by himself.

It's not Yao's fault that his body keeps breaking down, he is 7'6" for goodness sakes.

Yao is a superstar so just stfu.

Nothing has changed in 4 years. Lebron was better than Tmac 4 years and 4 billion year afterwards.

Were you hacked by tinman on that original comment? It was an extremely impressive impersonation.

Comparing McGrady, an all time loser, to Lebron James, one of the all time best players to play in the NBA?

What a joke of a thread.
