Horry isn't an all-time great, that wasn't the point he was making.

Shaq in Orlando > McGrady in Orlando. Shaq in Orlando/LA was easily the best player in the league post Jordan.

Don't get me wrong, McGrady was a great player - and if his body hadn't deteriorated he would easily be considered a top 3 player of this generation (on the same level as Kobe despite what Tinman errantly believes)... but unfortunately that isn't the case. Tinman tends to flaunt this fact for personal reasons. I guess it makes him feel better.

P.S - only an idiot would claim that Penny was anywhere near the player McGrady was during his prime.

    man you are desperate!

first you can't give us a logical reason on why Tmac > Shaq in Orlando
then you can't give us a logical reason on why Tmac > Le Bron

if you ask who's the better talent than Tmac, if you ask who would I rather have shoot the ball in the playoffs at the end of the game, no question Robert Horry.

Sorry dude, this entire thread was suppose to be a joke, cause no one in their right minds believes that Tmac in Orlando was anywhere close to Shaq in Orlando.

This whole thing is a joke cause comparing Shaq to Tmac is comparing a Tank to a tricycle. And your replies further increases the comedy of this thread!

Do you admire his passion when he's laughing with opposing players during losses?

I left out Tmac on purpose and put in the original #1, Penny.

That was another little joke. But your delusional Tmac fanatic friend here thinks Penny was so awesome, not me. When it was Penny's turn to take over he bailed out.(irony) then he goes to Phoenix with that much ballyhooed back court of Jason Kidd and Penny. What happened there?

Penny had the talent, but his injuries did him in.

Clearly though, the bread and butter was Shaq for Orlando.
And this year, Yao has emerged as the bread and butter of this team.

if Tracy slapped you in your face, would it be your face's fault?

we get that you have to defend Tmac for everything.

But no one's comparing Yao to T-Mac; they're comparing Shaq to him. It's a ludicrous comparison.

Tracy McGrady is sometimes one heck of a closer. But he is also one heck of a folder at times. (That's one reason he has never made it out of the first round of the playoffs.)

For that last shot I don't think there's any question that you'd rather have Big Shot Bob taking it.

no, but the tired ole 'first round exits' line has been thrown out once again to try and solidify an argument, regardless of the basis, the fact that Tmac has never been out of the first round cannont be pinned to him directly, not for every single series.

Shaq is better than Tmac is really an asinine argument to begin with, it's like saying Joe Montana is better than Walter Payton.
