Battier does all the little thing you don't see . well if you're not watching that is. His defense is big part of the reason we won that game down the stretch tonight.

Very tangible defense by Battier against Granger on the last possession today, you won't find that in the boxscore.

+18 plus/minus and 4 blocks. Some people need to look past scoring.

    Guys, guess what?!?

We'd win by more if we had better players!!! Get Morey on the phone, we gotta let him know! Hopefully the rest of the league won't pick up on this...

It looked like Battier got quite a few minutes at the PF spot next to Budinger tonight. Indiana's relatively small frontcourt allowed Adelman to get away with using Battier as PF over Jeffries.

I thought Battier's help defense did more good there than when he plays SF and Budinger slides over to the guard position. It's like figuring out how to best mask Budinger's defensive deficiencies.

    1) How old are you?
    2) Who helped you turn on the computer?

    Agreed, but...............

This was the first game when he wasn't having to defend all three perimeter players by himself out there either. He looks so much more valuable next to Lowry. Shane effectively took Granger out of this game.

The garm has become a kiddie playground with a bunch of kids yelling and screaming about things they impulsively think and post without any rational thought behind. So just because people are to starting to "echo" what you are saying doesn't make it so.

We are much better than our record; but the fact of the matter is, that doesn't get you into the playoffs. The season is still very early, this is very troubling yes, but a 2-6 start brings out the stupid in people. How about being optimistic and collectively hope for a 5 game winning streak to get us right on track.

I think the conversations are mostly civil until the Battier supporters attack other posters.

The most offensively inept SF in the NBA strikes again! "Mr. Intangibles" needs to volunteer to take a seat, because RA sure as hell doesn't have the stones to pry the cancer from the rotation.

3-13 from the field, and for all the Battier faithful who justify his PT based on the flawed +/- system... your boy was -13 tonight. The team's 3-9, and RA's sticking to his guns. It's time for change. 'Nuff said.

Doesn't make any sense to sit or move Battier now....

....if the Rockets have managed to get by with him starting for the past five seasons...

....what the difference is this season going to make?

There's nothing wrong with Battier that dying wouldn't fix......

....but I like it here still........

Well, ****... 3-10. I lost focus during my alcohol-fueled rage. Bottom line, it's time to tweak the rotation, and it starts with Shane.

    Rotation: JT in for Battier
    -------------------------
    JT plays 20mins
Battier/Budinger each play for 14 mins

Don't know if it is good or bad but i'll try it for one game
