Time To Do Our Part: Crowdsourcing Solutions To Empty Seats at TC

Special "Half Priced Nose Bleed Tickets".......for people to come early and fill the empty lower bowl seats. Once the season ticket holder (or seat owner) comes though, you have to move up to your nose bleed seats (hence why you get discounted tickets). If they don't show up, you get to stay there the whole game! Fans who sign up for this seat filler program and don't show up will not be allowed to participate for future games. Maybe each person gets like 1 strike?

 

Crowd has been awesome last night tho.

 

I was hoping this would happen. The holidays are here. The Texans season is essentially over. It's been a month and a half since the World Series. And the Rockets have the best record in the NBA. The fans were bound to take notice and show up eventually.

Well, either that or it was simply due to Star Wars Night.

 

Is this just your idea, or is it happening. The Game Thread seems to allude to ppl being allowed to move down.

 

Just an idea I threw out there. I haven't been keeping up with the game thread so I wasn't aware of ppl being allowed to move down. Is this really allowed or are people just sneaking down?

 

I don't know. I probably misread someone's post. I doubt it's allowed.

 

They should allow it and actually have security tell people after the first quarter or something that people can move down if they want from sections exactly up from the empty section.

 

Rockets support has been bad since forever. Just started to watch an early April 1994 home game and the Twolves announcers are just baffled by the half-empty arena. They even say how terrible it is and that if they cannot support a team this good, they wonder what it would take. Embarrassing..

 

Hire clutchfans residents as fill ins.

 

I will be sitting in the club seats tonight!!!!!

FYI. They are really pricey. I do not blame anyone for not buying them. Way overpriced!

 

get rid of the red rowdies and i might go to 8 games per season instead of the 4 ive been averaging over the last few years.

 

just gotta find a way to get the corporate fans in sections 105-109 and 118-122 to be more passionate about the team and get in their seats...everywhere else in TC is fine IMO
