We want the better PG coming off the bench whenever Harden isnt in the game imo. Why would we want Bev to run the second unit?
I can't get annoyed at his missed shots. Even though a lot are open. Because I understand shooting slumps happen. But it's his pathetic defense which is irking me. How many times did he get blown by tonight causing our defense to collapse which had a domino effect. There is absolutely no reason for him to press up into the chest of the opposing PG at the half court line. No reason at all. Yet he continues to do it. He's obviously wrong in thinking it pressures the opposing team - because they're driving by him CONSTANTLY and getting either open pull ups in the lane or dishing out to WIDE OPEN shooters due to the rest of the Rockets having to collapse into the paint to cut off the penetration. It it this reason which is really p*ssing me off with Bev this season.
Bev... Starts... But it all depends on the situation of what is needed and who is playing well between Bev, Terry and Prig.... Each game is different, so you have to go with the hot hand... T_Man
The funny thing is as bad as he shot tonight, he had some plays (the D-Will hack And1, the game tying three ball), that if Prig made, this place would've went insane with "'start Prigionio immediately' and 'Hes such a better teammate,' etc." that it would give us all a headache. Bottomline is we don't have a great point guard, but Bev is our point guard and we have to understand that. He plays okay, plays hard, and can hit enough threes to be relevant. Stop acting like 37 year old Prigioni is gonna be what we wanted to trade for in Dragic.
priggs will be cutting into his minutes soon, but i dont want bev to come fof the bench. we need his defense.
If Bev plays over 30 minutes in the playoffs when the game slows down we are in huge trouble. Especially with such a Jekyll and Hyde them
Jason Kidd sucked when he won a championship There really isn't an answer other than playing James there right now during crunch time
If you watched that finals Jason Kidd actually checked Lebron down the stretch and got several clutch steals.

You people don't ever learn. Hasn't Hakeem told us many times, "You can never estimate the skills of a champion"?
I was never a big Bev fan, but have to admit he has hit some clutch shots and made some big plays during the season...
