If he was that "talented" he could at least get his team to the playoffs. Not the 2nd round just in the playoffs.
I've glowed about Kevin Love repeatedly. If it isn't enough already that he can shoot 3s, rebound, and draws double teams, Love is also one of the best if not the best outlet passer in the NBA. I really think (hope?) that Kevin Love makes it known he wants to be in Houston next offseason. If we can get him via trade, even if it cost us multiple picks and young talent, we'd be championship caliber. It's impossible for a player to have success when they can't shoot from anywhere on the floor. This isn't advanced basketball. When defenders worry neither for your shot nor your drive, you're pretty much screwed.
He's playing in the West, though. Not an excuse, just an explanation. If Minny was an E-League team, they'd be in the playoffs every year.
