I always thought Tim Jamison was a serviceable back-up, perhaps even underrated. It sucks that he is out.

Is Mondek the guy we cut in preseason that the Eagles signed that Lance Z is really high on?

I believe that was OT Nate Menkin. He signed with the Eagles and is currently on their active roster.

 

we did draft mondek in the 5th and he was cut... i didnt follow him after that..

 

I think you are right. The names are so close. I just remember he was incredibly athletic for a tackle and Lance was really high on him as a developmental project.

 

I believe it was the 6th where we drafted Mondek, but yeah....still a project.

 

I remember reading that as well. Unfortunately, Mondek is nowhere near the "athlete" or "physical specimen" that Menkin is even though they are both considered very raw projects.

Would love to see the Texans take a tackle in one of the first 2 rounds next year and move Newton to swing.
