im sure he isnt stuffing nerds into lockers or taping their buns together anymore...hes just jacking out HRs in pretty much every ballpark in the majors
He can strike out 200 times and hit .220 for all I care... if that OPS is still over 1.000, I'll take him over almost anyone on this team. That said, the Reds would be fools to trade him under any scenario. I imagine they used his name to make a statement that everyone is tradable, but when push comes to shove there's no reason to trade a young talent like that when his contract still has a couple more years.
Dunn would be perfect for this team. He is an awesome talent. Drayton said if we do make any moves this year it would only be for someone who is going to stay and help us in the future. I feel Dunn would be happy to play the rest of his career here. I really hope that the Reds give up on this season and somehow we could work a trade for him. An outfield of Dunn, Taveras, and Lane with Berkman at first base? We would be set for years.
