Bynum said it doesn't matter to him if he gets extended. "I will play anywhere" Probably not the answer the Laker fans wanted to hear.
Yeah that was really cool. On the flip side - OKC fans going absolutely nuts. I am so freakin jealous.
Sounds like Moreys new target. Probably Dwight Howards new obsession to take advantage of the Lakers situation though.
Best deal and player that they can get. Honestly, if they cannot do better than Andrew Bynum or Blake Griffin/DeAndre Jordan, those are the best players that they might can catch. I do not see the problem in just acquiring alot of cap space in 2013. We have nothing on our roster that is as enticing as Andrew Bynum. With Bynum, I honestly think he would LOVE Orlando, and being a centerpiece player. Unlike, Dwight, he's sort of been in the spotlight in a bigger market, he already has two titles. Now, he's at a point in his career to show what he can sort of do as being a focal point player. Most of all, they can put a really nice team around him, next summer.
A defensive center is worth his weight in gold. his injury the reason why Celtics didnt win game 6 & 7 of 2010 Finals and consequently the title. Not a specialist player at all imo. If he was a specialist he wouldn't have been so crucial to both the Celtics and now the Thunder.
Yeah, because I think he is genuine in what he said. Again, I do not think he would mind being on a team where he can be on a roster where he can shoot 20 times per game.
If Gasol is added, it would have to be 3 or more team deal. The Lakers are probably going to want other pieces for Gasol, and are not interested in anythng else that Orlando has on the roster.
So, I guess everyone is just gonna ignore that this game is probably in LA's control if Kobe wasn;t so horrible in Games 1-4?
I think Thunder would be content with Kobe getting 42 on 33 shots with 0 assists in most of the games when LA grabs a total of 3 offensive boards for LA.
Bwahaha. I love how BSPN had a whole segment on LA sport teams at this time of year and both basketball teams win a combined 1 game. Love it
The Lakers biggest need was an upgrade was the PG position. They've known it all season long and tried to fix it with the CP3 trade. Kupchak talked about wanting an all-star at the position and all they ended up with was Sessions. He's a complete non-factor and Kobe had to make all the plays in the playoffs. Their dedication to the twin tower model ends this offseason. Gasol is gone.
