I never thought CP sucked. The concern, for me, was over him actually playing more than 75% of the regular season games and/or being healthy for the postseason. Based on his two season with Houston, was there any indication he was going to be THIS healthy? Most likely not. The dude played only 116 regular season games for us and he's on pace to play the most games he's ever played since 2014/2015.
Tracking after 47 games (Hou) 18-19 season: 27-20 19-20 season: 29-18 Tracking after 49 games (Okc) 18-19 season: 31-18 19-20 season: 29-20 Okc is essentially the same team as a year ago that had the contracts of both wb/pg13 but now with a boatload of future picks without any of their huge contracts
Lol, but his biggest fault are his old age and injuries. Again they cannot be controlled. Forces of nature.
Rockets took a risk on Westbrook so they didn't gamble on unhealthy CP3, and now we're dealing with Harden issues while OKC is about to pass us with a healthy CP3. Ah, the irony. Honestly, I would've given CP3 another year, but it doesn't matter now. WB is playing well, and our issues stem from elsewhere now.
Man, you’d think @roslolian was insane and @jordnnnn gave him an ass whooping bases on that cp3 hate thread..
Yup for sure and CP3 has a deeper bench ther to draw from and he isn’t he featured co-star in terms of usage (I believe, I didn’t look it up) there vs here. If we had had this CP3 last year we’d Ben golden but he kinda sucked quite a bit of last year. I see why the move was made, didn’t love it at the time, struggled with it a lot early on, but have come to respect Russ a lot for what he does bring. Will it pay off in the end for either team in a championship ? Probably not, but there are pluses and minuses to the trade that make it somewhat of a wash from a stats point of view, but as far as who got the better end I’d argue OKC based on the kicks alone, had we just swapped he payers out I really don’t honk I’d have that much to b**** about tbh.
The ultimate Tilman failure this season will be when he finds out OKC has a better record than us. Good thing we won't be playing them in round 1, if we somehow do and loss that series, we might be lucky enough that Tilman gets embarrassed enough and sell the team.
??? It's a 4 year marathon not a sprint, their contract dont end at season end so I dunno what "ass whupping" I'm getting. As of right now WB is totally the correct decision esp given how the Rox are playing extending the window should be the top priority.
everyone is focused on the immediate impact of this trade. we'll be reaping the rewards a year or 2 down the line when cp3 starts to fall off.
