    I didn't say it wasn't possible because it is. When you account in for FICA, SIT, & FIT, then it is possible that she paid 30%. Now lets take some time to consider that he pays FICA on his employees. His corporations are taxed, which is not included on his personal return. I'm sure he is getting taxed throughly higher than what is on his return.

    She could donate some money and personal items, buy a house and deduct mortgage interest and taxes and end up with a much lower effective tax rate. I think the tax code is over complex, but it doesn't favor the rich.

    i'm pretty much 100% in obama's camp, saving some miraculous performances from both mccain and palin during the debates.

    as someone who really is "pro-business" and small government, there are several obama policies i dont agree with. unfortunately for me, the repubs are far removed from the conservative foundations they once stood for and have instead turned into the party of the lowest common denominator... it has become increasingly frustrating.
