This team will never win anything with Brock Osweiler at QB!

Very true. Pretty much anyone the Pats pick will be assumed to be one of the best QB's in the NFL and they'll be able to flip them to a desperate team for a profit.

and since BOB has that same offense or at least I assume it would be due to Patriot ties, he's going to be highly sought after as well the same way Jimmy G is now

And if the Texans trade for Jimmy G and he ends up with a bad alarm clock and is cut, we can look forward to trading for the next guy the Pats draft.

How about try some Braxton Miller at QB?
    I wonder whether Braxton Miller
Seems like OB is the opposite of a QB whisperer lately . . . . wonder if Braxton Miller could play some QB for us?

Almost certainly not, and I doubt they try it. He needs to focus on being a WR. I do agree that BOB has been the opposite of a QB whisperer though.

I can't imagine how much MORE frustrated and disgusted I would have been over Brock all season if the camera angle on TV showed the plays developing instead of zooming in on the QB. The TV view doesn't let us see the whole picture most of the time, so we don't see all the wide open receivers he has to choose from. I'm still waiting for our networks to catch up with the times and give us a tactical view option when watching the games like Sky Sports does in Europe.

Mallett had known accuracy issues and the Texans still traded for him... smh

He was overthrowing checkdowns during Pats practices same way he did his 2nd start for us. Zero touch.

I'm okay with a 1st and 4th for Jimmy G, or drafting a QB 1st or 2nd round. I don't believe in Brock or Savage.

OL needs to be addressed 1st or 2nd as well.

    Football outsiders:

Scott Kacsmar: A supercut of Osweiler's 10 incompletions would make you wonder how he's still in the game. A supercut of his 15 completions wouldn't show much either since they've barely averaged 6.0 yards per catch. With the Patriots going bombs away in unexpected fashion, there's just no way the Texans can keep up with this lack of production from the quarterback. I'm not sure Savage is the answer, but it's at least another option. He lost the job due to injury, right?

I like Jimmy G a lot, but I probably wouldn't give up a 1st and a 4th. I don't know. I can probably be talked into it, but right now I think we'd be better off giving up like two 2s and a future 4 or something. When we have such a need for high level offensive line I hate losing a 1st.

That said, if you feel like Jimmy G can be a top 15 QB....

I don't think his height helps him at all; longer strides and the DBs can read his eyes easier

I don't think he can overcome his release and mechanics. He has such a long, max effort release on even the short passes it makes it too easy for defenders to be there. I just don't think he can go through his throwing motion fast enough to deal with windows closing in the NFL. Even when he does see the play before it's there he can't make a throw before it's already gone.

Cutting him saves nothing. You stash him on the bench.

    Per 790 AM...

This season Brock had FOUR games with 40+ attempts / sub-200 yards

Since 1950, that had only happened TWICE.

It's not all on him, but wow.

disgusting, any QB worth a damn sees Fuller and hits him for a 89 yard TD pass.
