    as I've said earlier, I would have preferred with the "trade a bunch of picks for one of the top 2 QBs in the draft" gamble. And I don't think Brock is going to be spectacular. Even still, it's not a terrible risk to take.

    that's cool. But it doesn't have to be all or nothing. Just because we both would've preferred that route doesn't suddenly mean "Brock is definitely garbage, and the team is doomed." But that's how you're approaching this signing for a guy who has started 7 games or whatever.

    Any rookie is more risky than a player that has even a mediocre NFL resume. Our real draft possibility was Paxton Lynch, Osweiler is sorta Lynch with a year of training with Peyton Manning. Plus, you still have the #22 pick!
