Isn't that what fans do? Bash their teams when their down and cheer when they win?

You really don't have to convince the fans... it's the Rockets players you have to convince.

It was good in that we won, but the games weren't pretty. Of course, that's all in the eyes of the beholder. The game was still full of mistakes. As jacked up as our team is, I feel that the team is under-performing.

    Just my take on it.

Which is fine. I'm a realist, I clearly stated that our chances aren't great, but my point being that the series and season aren't over yet. Many have already written it off, most likely the same ones that said season was over when Yao went down, same ones that said the season was over when we went in that funk after the 6-1 start, same ones that call TMac a quitter when that is exactly what they are doing to "their" team...quitting.

It's like having a dying relative, but writing them off as dead before they flatline. You never admit defeat until it happens. THEN you look forward.

Look, if the Hawks can get two in a row against the Celtics, then dammit...the Rockets can get 2 in a row from Utah to force a game 7.

I said during the 22 game win streak that whatever else this injury-riddled team managed to accomplish this year was gravy. There is no reason to rip this undermanned team (which has played its butt off this year) because they can't get over the hump against a bigger, stronger, deeper, and more talented utah team.

Plus, they already beat the Jazz in utah. They will probably lose the series, but I must admit perverse satisfaction at seeing sulking Jazz fans, no matter the circumstances.

The season is not over. Lets win another one! Go Rockets!

Utah fans don't. Granted, Utah fans cheer their team in a somewhat creepy, mindless way, and they probably think the movie Celtic Pride is nonfiction, but...

even if the rockets win one more game the series was over before it started

as a coach jerry sloan never gets enough credit for just taking any team and making them a powerhouse muscle team full of bruisers and floppers

if it was that easy, more teams would be like the jazz

u could prolly give JS 9 hi skewl kids and they'd be #3 in the leastern conference

Had Rafer played in the first 2 games, the series would have been over.

Just like Kenny said, the players should be saying for Game 6, "Let's just get back home..."

If the team can execute and fight for a win in Utah, anything can happen in Game 7 that is in OUR house.

    I'll say it again...

This season is not over yet. We live to fight another day.
