We need to maintain a positive attitude and be hopeful that our stars will regain their form and take us to glory. On a positive note, we don't lose by a wide margin even though our starters are in a slump. So, can you imagine how well we will do when our stars are back to being themselves?!?!
Rockets will obviously win this series and go on to win the next 4 championships going 82-0 4 years in a row.
I still see us winning this series. Game 3 is the key I'm still quite hopeful...I underestimated Portland but I still think we have the better team. We just need to play like it.
Game three is definitely key. The other key is to forget all this whining about defense. Playoff caliber defense is built over an entire regular season. Even with Sampson, we were never that good defensively, especially in terms of overall team defense. To get back in the series, we literally have to focus on our offense (get out and run more, even after made baskets), and stopping everyone not named Aldridge. It can actually be good for us to have him shooting 20 shots a game. He'll normally make 10-12. Don't foul him a lot, and limit everyone else. We could really get back in it. ALSO: given the tremendous (and understandable) negativity in Houston, it is probably for the best that Game 3 is in in PDX.

Seriously..... even with Aldridge awesome shooting, we lost by 2 in overtime in game 1 with an official missed called by the NBA, and lost by 7 in game 2 (which was a kick in the nuts). Plus even with Harden and Parsons shooting like crap. As to the double team debate, I would rather keep forcing Aldridge shooting over Asik or Howard than leaving wide open 3 pointers for Lillard, Matthews, and Batum.
It's not unrealistic at all. We should have won the first game, and was in the second game the whole time. Remember this is all with Mchale coaching like a dumbass. Maybe Morey got him some help, and he knows he is done unless he does something, so hopefully changes will be made.
I don't know how some of you people survive in your daily lives with how negative you can be. Let's take sweet Lou for 2 for example. He said blazers will win 4-0 which means he has given up on this team. What kind of attitude is that? Why even bother being on gees forums and why even bother being a rockets fan if that's all you got. Season is not over yet anything can happen.
This will only happen if Harden can find his F***ing game AND if Mcfail would actually try to do something to slow down Aldridge.
