I think we are talking about two different things. I think everyone would agree that Asik wants to be traded to a team that will let him start. I do not see that changing and I do not think that it is anything personal against the Rockets. However, before Asik wouldn't even play and complained. Now he seems willing to show effort and wants to win. I don't think Morey or Alexander care that Asik is $15,000,000 because he is an insurance policy for Howard, is a top 4 defensive center and the Rockets knew what they were getting into when they signed him and he has more than delivered. Morey wants value for him not just salary relief.

IN THE TWO GAMES SINCE THE ALL STAR BREAK: Golden State: he hit a few shots. Probably gave up too many open looks. Bad game. Not horrible. Suns: uncharacteristically bad on Offense. Had the turnover bug the rest of the team were afflicted with. Moved the ball well, hit six assists in 20 minutes, positive +/-. Not great. But not horrible. I mean, are you serious with this ****? Lin didn't have good games by any stretch of the imagination, but does it warrant bringing him up in a thread about Omer Asik being a good dude and stopping Beverley from making a bad decision?
