Sorry to hear about your father. I lost mine in the early 1980's, far too soon, and I have the same genetic condition (thanks, Dad) that ultimately did him in after he had numerous heart stacks over 25 years. Statins weren't invented yet. I'm still here because they were. Age? I find the guy in the mirror hard to believe, because I just don't feel that old inside. I guess that's a common enough feeling among the aged. Just try not to get too torn and frayed, and you'll be around for years.
When I see people I knew at a much younger age that were happy about life, with tons of vitality. Become so jaded after struggling with some things that have happened. In turn becoming the people they are now, trying to justify supporting a person like Donald Trump. Life can be cruel, taking a hold of you sadly.
