He has major grey hair but he is still super fit -- if he shaved his head and beard he would look much younger.
on a darker note, many of the celebrities/artist/sports figures i knew growing up are dying at a high rate.
THIS! I couldn't believe how old he looked....like a grand pop....then I remembered watching him ~'98/'99
I took my boys (5 years old) to get haircuts on Saturday and I was listening to Siamese Dream, by Smashing Pumpkins on Spotify really loud and singing along. They were laughing at me and asked me who I was listening to, so I told them. Got to the haircut place and one of the girls cutting their hair looked like a young hipster (she had purple hair). My kid told her "my daddy was listening to Smashing Pumpkins." I thought this would make me look pretty cool, right? Nope.......she had never heard of them.... When did being a Gen X'er stop being cool?
The television show The Wonder Years aired from 1988-1993 and the show was set in 1968-1973. That means if a "Wonder Years" reboot were to happen today, it would cover 1997-2002. When a friend mentioned that to me the other day, it made me feel really, really old.
Mobley should make you guys feel YOUNG. He looks great. If you cant see past grey hair you've got problems.
I feel really old when I see kids graduating from high school were born after I was done with college.
If they started a That 90s Show today, it'd be the same amount of time from the 1970s ended and when they started That 70s Show.
Seeing players being drafted younger then me, I'm young but that gets me since I have been watching NBA since 12 and now to think guys my age are playing in the league along side Lebron and the likes is pretty nuts. Devin Booker is half a year older then me and dropped 70. What is life.
Seeing kids of the legends we watched start to come up through the ranks of the leagues does it for me..
Teaching and coaching my former classmates children. Working with kids I taught or coached. My son turning 17 today. All my recent injuries. Taking a weekend to recover from a night of drinking.
Dreading out of town gigs instead of looking forward to them Turning down free or low-paying gigs Going straight home after every gig
I move slower these days...Takes longer to recover or heal from things..even longer from a night of drinking...when a hot young woman calls you sir...#fml
