Why lament T-mac today if all days? First off it's a random Sunday to get on someone's jock and secondly, you are making me feel like the *igga died or is in a coma or something.
I know Tinman is gonna flame me but T-Mac will always be my favorite player. Been watching him since his days in Orlando
What is the iq if Tracy mcgrady fans and Lin fans combined? Hint it's the same as the number of playoff series victories they both have. I bet you Lin will actually lead the rockets to at least a first round victory though
I'm only going to flame you if you play the woulda coulda game. But yes he was an all star player who was a true all star who came to the rockets will extremely high expectations .
Agreed, TMac's 2005 season was the best a Rocket's player has had since Hakeem. It will be a long time until we see another player of his talent on the Rockets. Problem is, for all his talent he just didn't have that dog in him.
McGrady was a great scorer and playmaker. He's also a very nice, charitable guy. Wish him nothing but the best in retirement.
Mcgrady would Dnp every other game and get pissed off and then his knee would hurt and then he'll see Tim Grover in chicago
T-Mac was an offensive juggernaut of a player and had one of the best individual seasons of all time. I love how haters like Tinman regularly fail to point out Tracy's numbers actually increased/improved in the post-season, the choker tag given to him by the mindless drones was undeserved. Basketball is a team game which you never fail to point out with your played out nostalgic stories yet it seems T-Mac is always exempt from that way of thinking on this forum. He was a great player with a not so great supporting cast until the latter part of his career where he could never stay healthy. Hope CP3's career doesn't follow a similar path.
He had the dog in him but his teammates didnt have that dog in them. Go back and look at every playoff series and tell me who balled out of control and who didn't. LOL
T-Mac is a selfish chucker. Everything he did came at the expense of his teammates. It's not coincidence that he never got out of the first round. Even Francis was better. He did more with less.
Yes he balled out of control, but for all his talents he couldn't will his team to the 2nd round. Either way, you won't get a strong argument out of me; I have a high opinion of Tmac and wish him the best in retirement.
