Forget 1993, 1997, 1999, 2005, and 2007, what about last year? How could this be worse than the first round loss last year?
Perspective - Most of us had very high expectations. The Rockets had extended recovery and since CP3 was out the home team should have destroyed the worn-down visitors, right? Rockets were not in rhythm all game. The Clippers are athletic and retained their rhythm from the SA series. AUSTIN RIVERS, CP3 - pick your poison. Don't overstate the loss because AR has got to be the best backup PG in the NBA right now. But to the point of the thread - NO, not the worst Rox playoff game ever. It was a frustrating game, absolutely, but there's still life in them.
worst loss was game against jazz when stockton hit 3 and stabbed us in the heart. Going down 3-1 against phx was lame. that hurt. seeing yao hobble off court against LA when I knew we should have won that series. game 7 against sonics when olajuwon went nuts and we lost in OT. game against dallas at home when we were up 2-0 and lost. game against dallas when finley was out of bounds. The game 7 we lost by 40 it was really just a hangover from the getting robbed by refs. last years loss was tough against portland but that was more compounded by fact that nba kept releasing statements about incorrect calls through the series. Is that you doc? touting your son again? come on you dont seriously think this right? wow Ive seen it all now.
Absolutely not. Choke City was, by far, the worst fan experience of my life! Nothing else comes close.
To be honest we really never had a chance to even beat the clippers.... since 2011 when it was just Blake and Jordan the clippers always seem to find away to give us problems....
