Moral wins are garbage, the "we fought hard" "we kept the game close" "we let it slip away" lines are nonsense as well. This team (Warriors) has dominated us since Steve Kerr became coach. The days when we actually got the best of them (Mark Jackson as coach) are long gone. James' MVP chances are dwindling - the media bias is evident, but the loss last night left a bad taste in my mouth, coupled with the fact that Draymond went to the media and admitted that he punched James' "wrist". The ultimate disrespect. Westbrook will average a triple double this season and probably take MVP (frustrating but probably true). I came here to pose because it angers me that the dubs don't respect us...but again why would they? Here's to hoping we finish the last 7 or so games strong, get healthy (Beard and Ryno), beat the Thunder in the first round, and hope someone else knocks out the Warriors, by the time we get to the WCF.
San Antonio (TWICE) L.A. Lakers Houston Memphis Cleveland Miami Sacremento Denver Chicago Boston Minnesota These are the only teams that beat them this year so they OWNED everyone else Rocket River
They didn't allow anybody to drive at all! Defense was great and we chucked a lot, it's getting to the point where Harden is borderline dumb for not just resting. If he's doing this to get the mvp it's a shame because this isn't how you get far in the playoffs.
They do not own us completely. The games have been closer than they would have liked. They can blow us open though and we can win against them depending on who makes more shots. I think they are defensively disciplined, and have better chemistry than us. Still they are the favorites and I think this year's Cavs are no match. I hope Lebron can turn it up though. Spurs are as always a threat.
The warriors are just at a higher level but I believe we are get there with harden and a few key additionals in the next few seasons.
Getting past Russ'lers will be a challenge, but very likely met. Getting past the Pops brigade will be a challenge, not likely met. If Rox pop past Spurs the last West team standing will have its attention garnered. Let it be the Rox they fear.
The Rockets need to replace Ariza with a Paul George and either have Capela take a huge leap as a rim protector or find a way to get somebody like Deandre Jordan before we can talk about legitimately being on the Warriors' level.
yes you guys they own us, stop sugar coating. his avg's vs gsw are worse than his career avg's as a rocket. he did avg a td this season against them, with horrid efficiency. 31fg%, 14% from three, and 6.5tos. he seems to forget how to play basketball whenever he's against the warriors.
If you can't drive you can't dish Everything is contested and percentages drop drastically What we need more than other players is just more movement on offense but at this point in the season, we are what we are. He can't will the team there without more off the ball movement. I was impressed with us defensively last night though. Many of the turnovers yesterday were unforced. Everyone had butterfingers for some reason. I think that gets better.
There are stats saying they play worse when Kevin Durant is playing. And they did look pretty terrible in that one game the Rockets won.
Warriors are a cheap team. They almost ripped off Hardens shoulders twice - Matt Barnes And they repeatedly hit harden injured wrist- draymond. I wish someone like Ariza would kick draymond on a layup
The Warriors owing the Rockets is nonsense this season. Past two years yes but this season the Rockets have actually been in games late. Warriors are team that have shown in past that when they are not hitting at a high clip they can be beat. Green is the one that makes that team go and with his play even the refs are not calling his BS play. Imagine if Harden would yell out every time he went the basket and One like Green does I am sure he would get a T. Someone on the team needs to take on Green and get him out of his game. Go Rockets!!
