It's annoying how people in general(not just this idiot) are now so fond of saying how the Rockets won't do anything in the playoffs, and therefore their streak means nothing. They can say this BS now that Yao's out. It's as if they don't want to admit that they're idiots for writing the Rockets off. So rather than admit their own idiocy, they instead keep raising the bar. And if the Rockets do anything other than win a championship, they can point out how the Rockets are the "only team to have such a streak and not win it all". And that somehow renders the streak meaningless.
I start to think this blogger may be Sam Smith's son. He barely sees any sunlight because he spends 24 hrs a day hidding in his daddy's basement and dressing his room with Spurs jerseys and banners.
lol anyone else laugh when the article read "slipping by weak team after weak team" or something like that? Rrrrrriiight, we barely slipped by them even though our double digit streak came to an end by a wide open dunk, so unfortunately it was 2 points less from double digits... thank goodness we've managed to slip by these weak teams.
I don't think anybody is arguing that winning the championship is important. Your analogy doesn't justify this guy's writing though b/c everyone thought the Patriots were going to win it all b/c of their streak, but this guy gives us no shot even with ours.
