This is not a knee jerk thread by any means. Sure he choked tonight by missing crucial free throws and easy lay-ups, but it's nothing new.

This has been going on for as long as he's been here, but it hasn't been as obvious as it is now. He needs to go.

Plus Patterson has been amazing. I say trade Scola and start Patterson.

5 minutes for a new thread...took longer than I thought it would.

To be honest, I really like Patterson and wouldn't mind seeing Scola traded, but all players have up and down games. The thing with Scola though is that every game for him is up and down. His offense is up and his defense is down. Tonight they were both just down lower than usual.

He's not clutch bro. Clutch is being clutch all the time. You can't disappear in overtime when your team needs you the most. David West sure as hell didn't disappear.

Scola was brought to the team as a complement big alonside Yao. Give him a solid center and he'll okay again

It's weird seeing him choke so much in the NBA when he was so money for Argentina last summer. Dunno what the deal is with that.

SCRUBola and here's why, 20/10 but gives up 40/20. = x2 im with op. Run Patterson and find takers for this guy. He will do fine in a ball club that already has great defenders and only require his scoring. Houston need much much more right now.

Scola has been consistent?!?! Wow, take off the homer glasses!!

Sure Scola puts up great numbers, against SUB PAR teams. When he goes against the good teams, he fades in crunch time and has ZERO defense.

Using this criteria there is no clutch player in the NBA then.
