It really sucks being a Texans fan. Especially when you know that this team is going no where soon with Matt Schaub as the starting QB. We are looking at two more years of the same. So i think the Texans should do the right thing and trade Andre Johnson. The guy deserves a real chance at competing for a ring. He will never get that chance on this team next to Slob. Slob wasn't even throwing many passes to him early on in the season. For a while Johnson was an after thought during the 1st half of the season. Not to mention him being 31 and having somewhat of an injury history. I think they should look to use Johnson to trade up in this next draft. I'm sure they could get good picks for him.
Andre is on the wrong side of thirty. On this side of thirty, injuries become common. Especially with injury proned players. He just doesn't have the time to wait on the coach and QB to get their thing together. The Texans should strike now while his stock is still high.
Brandon Marshall in his prime was traded to Chicago, he was not worth a 1st rd pick. It's not the nba, it doesnt work like that. Marshall got the fins 2 3rd rd picks. Also, this is dumb and is not happening. AJ stays. We were 2 games from the SB. Had the best record in franchise history and lost to the team that will likely win the SB. Could be worse.
This is such BS. Our defense is as much to blame for the loss as any player on the offense. They dropped over 40 pts on us for the second straight time. We gave Jax 37 pts. We gave GB over 40pts. I'm not saying schaub is great but Grossman and Hasselbeck took the bears to the SB. That alone is reason to believe Schaub can. Maybe if we get a #2 wr that is an actual threat or upgrade the right side of the offensive line so we can run right and left we will have more success. There is plenty of blame to go around for our loss.
