Frambers first start was horrible. he's now hurt. Javier has started well. Blanco is a fluke. Hunter brown has been someone who belongs in the minors not some #5 starter having to start these guys more than they normally would makes this SP rotation abysmal No JV, No framber, No LMJ, No urquidy, No garcia. And they didn't address a SP when it was clearly an issue
Sure - Framber's first start was horrible and his second start was spectacular. All told, he has an ERA of 2.20. The Astros have 3 pitchers who have been elite through their 7 combined starts this season. They lost most of those games. Bigger picture, most of the rotation is the same as they had most of last year. If they had addressed the rotation, at this point, the only difference would be whoever you added would have replaced Blanco's two starts. It's almost certainly a fluke so far and unlikely to continue, but "addressing the rotation" wouldn't have made the Astros any better to this point and likely would have made them worse.
Sure is. “This year” its literally been 2 games and what he’s a bonafide star now huh. Gtfoh he’s 30 years old. He didn’t just turn into some cy young ace overnight. LOL at thinking it isn’t a fluke he will never pitch a game like that again aka complete fluke
And he’s now hurt and had to be removed from his scheduled starts. no it isn’t the same. They didn’t have to call up the likes of who they had to so far. The caliber of pitchers in the rotation is just much better yes addressing the starting rotation would absolutely be better. The signs were already there it needed depth.
lol it’s almost like they listened to some arm chairs on CF’s bitcching about pressly and look at them now. Same dumb logic decision it was to sign an over the hill Abreu.
The issues this team has is not because of our about the manager. If a better player is on the bench, or gets removed early that is on the manager. If players perform terribly, that's on them.
Team record is on the manager. Period. Or did that change? And lmao at that sly little dig. Chas not doing so well is he now?
Yes the manager takes the fall Doesn't mean it's his fault. He doesn't hit, pitch, or field. He chooses who does. And the players who have been on the field for the most part are the players who should be.
