I'm on board! I love this kid's game... even if he is a tweener. We'll have to wait and see if he's on the roster at the beginning of the season, though, since I don't think there's any guarantee that any of these guys will still be here.

Looking at his highlight package on the Iowa State website....he has the potential to be a Blake Griffin type player with better inside moves...now the question is do Parsons get moved to the bench

Around a month ago, I made a thread questioning what all the hype was for him because I did not feel like he would even be in question to be drafted by the Rockets. Clearly I was wrong, I like him as a player, but the big question to me is how will we use this guy?

 

From what I'm reading, it seems that the starting power forward spot is for D-Motiejunas. Jones being compared as a Lamar Odom (Laker Version), implies 6th man potential.

At 6-9 and 252 lbs, Jones could develop into a backup extraordinaire, playing center, power forward, and Small Forward. That is, if he has the talent. Morey said Jones has a very high potential, but implied there is considerable bust risk with him too.

Count me in on the bandwagon. The difference is White can play 2 positions effectively, Morris can play none.

 

Blake Griffin type? Griffin's game is based on his athleticism. Royce White really looks like he has a Boris Diaw style of game.

 

Did you look at the video?

 

Did you only look at that video and never actually saw him play? Your comparison can't be more far off, he's really close to Diaw.

 

Never seen Boris Diaw play that and Diaw was a outside shooter
