I noticed we were at 0.596 before the Wizards game. With this victory we have reached 0.603 winning percentage! Not to mention it's done with 8 straight wins baby. I don't remember when it's the last time we reached 0.600 after half a season. Was it in the Hakeem - Barkley era? The Rockets now are marching towards the Queens 5th standing. Let's hope they burn down more buildings on their road quest.

I think they actually reached 0.6 once last year right before the first meeting between the two VanGundy brothers. I remember Stan saying something like it's their first time to beat a 0.6 team.

wow, with this 8 game win streak, ESPN might just put us at #5 in the power rankings! They may even be less snide with their comments!

I hope the Nets beat the Kings tomorrow (Wednesday) night in NJ. Both teams are coming off back2back and losses.

Just imagine if we had fouled Webber on that play and won that game?

We would be up by .5 instead of down by 1.5.

Not to derail this thread but ESPN show that Boki will be on national TV tomorrow (Wednesday) against the Spurs. It could be an error as well because the ESPN college basketball half time show said they will be showing GS Warriors vs Seattle. Should be a good game to watch because NO is a much improved pesky team.

Come to think of it we have a quite talented team to be at 0.600. Beside obvious talent of T-Mac and Yao, there is Juan Howard, a 17-7 guy throughout most of his career. David Wesley, a regular starter. Mutombo, one of the greatest defensive player ever. Jon Barry, the bench mob type of solid role player. And Sura is a guy that can put up numbers given the minutes. The only downside is their age, and a little more depth at the 3 and 1 won't hurt too. It's great to see them realizing their potential under JVG. Cudos to CD for the trades, too.

Now only if they can beat the Spurs and the Suns......

Maybe it helps if you go to the NBA dish and click on the thread "The Bostian Nachbar Watch" thread. It's a fun one if you haven't visited it. :)

I like your thinking, but I think we had a lot better chance to lose that game than we had of winning that SA game with the McGrady miracle so I'll go ahead and call it even.

We are right where we should be :)

    Go Rox!

    Ok,

I will see your San Antonio game and raise you a Knicks bank shot at the end of the game.
