    Screw the naysayers!!!

Antipoopoo?? Paul George (Beatles fans should slap his parents DAILY!) .... team success??

Team success has a lot to do with talent AND talent available!! The Beard has had to carry the Rockets while 2 of the 3 best players on the roster have been warming the bench because of lengthy injuries, that’s not even counting our 4th best player not having any fun!!!

Oh by the way, did I mention the HISTORIC offensive run that he has graced us with!!!

Some of you deserve to be kicked off the wagon!!!

    Go Rockets!!!!
    .......
    .......

Hope he wins it but have no problem with Giannis winning it either. I also think Paul George deserves recognition. He’s playing amazing in both ends and is carrying that team despite Westbrook’s awful efficiency

Yup. It's essentially a 3 person race at this point. The Rockets have to win at least 50 games for Harden to be ahead of PG and Giannis in the eyes of voters.

PG has been absolutely amazing. Given last season, no one knew he would exceed his Pacers form.

as an unbiased fan of both players I believe the narrative has already been set and it's Harden's to lose. Now if the Rockets are free falling that's another story.
Giannis is only playing 31 mpg and Bud is going to be keeping him out more and more after the ASG. Especially since taking the no.2 slot in the East might be 100% preferable than the first.

For Harden to win MVP again, I think the following must happen:

    1) The Rockets have to win at least 50 games.
    2) The Rockets have to finish in the Top 3 in the West.
    3) Harden's insane scoring run has to last the rest of the season.
    4) The Bucks have to finish with a worse record than Golden State and Toronto.

The X-factor is Paul George. If the Thunder finish 2nd in the West, he could sneak in there and steal the award.

The narrative that gave Westbrook MVP and should have given Harden MVP in 2015 will shift away to 'best player on the best team' or whatever can be used to disregard Harden's historic numbers this season.

Rockets have blown too many games for Harden to realistically bea Giannis, who also has absurd stats but also the best team in the league. He’ll win.

He must extend that 30+ point per game streak until we reach the end of the season.

If he can make it these next 26 games with the streak alive... some voters may be edged by the "history" mark over the team's overall record mark, the way Russell Westbrook edged out James Harden for the MVP trophy with his triple double average a few seasons ago.

    That's the only way.

Harden ain't winning the MVP this year. Media would not allow that to happen.
even last year, media was still trying to find other narrative to not give it to Harden. they just couldn't ignore the fact that we had the best record in the league.
beating worriers in the playoffs, would solve all those narrative.
