    btw Houston...

It's been a while since I could say this...

but we are ON THE MAP.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get some nationally televised games with LIN and HARDEN. ****, people are even interested to see if we "overpaid" for Asik, which, we did not overpay for a top 3 defensive center in the league.

Top 3 Players in Iso Efficiency
    1) Chris Paul
    2) James Harden
    3) Jeremy Lin

    I love our dynamic backcourt.
I love our defensive beast at center.
I love our defensive specialist / glue-guy at the 3.
    I love our rookies

This team is ridiculously exciting right now. If we're good this year, we could be good for a long time. Houston could be OKC without the years of sucking. Thank you, Dork Elvis

though Harden came off the bench I am pretty sure he played the most minutes on the team behind westbrook and durant so basically he scored his points and made his plays regardless of who he was going up against

He is about to get paid the Max. That is for sure. He clearly wanted that. He is also about to be the man on one of, if not the youngest, team in the NBA. He feels great.

My guess is shocked. He and his agent probably thought OKC would give in and wont let him go. I dont think Harden is going to be too happy about this considering he gave up on a contender for only 4.5 million!

Dude, I understand having some reservations about giving up Lamb and who knows, you might be right about him blowing up some day.

    Having said that......

You are showing your ignorance with every post you make. Please. Stop.

OK so he is devastating at the pick n roll. Theres two part tot hat rioght? the 'pick' and the 'roll or pop'. So he sets the pick but then who on our roster is good at the 'roll or pop'?

Pat can only pop but cant roll and finish. Jones has shows he can roll and finish but cant really pop it consistently. D-Mo hasnt shown anything. Asik cant be counted on.

    Who else is there?

I fully support Harden refusing to take 4 yrs 52-54m from OKC. Could get 5 years 75-80m from Houston (no state tax). It's no contest.

Rockets are prob gonna offer 5 year $80 million. That compared to 4 year $55 million that OKC offered.

I'm definitely not sounding stupid here. I watch games enough to back up what I say. Harden is a really good 2nd option right now, which just happened to be what Ginobili was in his prime. Guess what, you need a really good 2nd option to win a championship. The Rockets aren't done building today, but they just got a key piece.

Also, James Harden is not just good because he played with Durant and Westbrook. James Harden was asked to run the Thunder offense in the 4th quarter in the playoffs repeatedly because he's a better faciliator than Westbrook. He can create for himself, and for his teammates. That's a really rare NBA quality, and things only stars can do.

Finally, Harden hardly ever played with both of them, since he led the bench unit, so saying his game is a product of solely playing with them is a stretch. In my opinion, you are underselling his game immensely.

i really think that presti probably informed his agent they were going to trade him if they didn't agree to the contract offerred, and he probably even indicated at some point it was going to be houston - and harden was fine with that and even gave the verbal okay to signing the max deal with us

could even be that harden really wanted out of durant's shadow

That's where we don't agree. How are we over selling Harden, you mean, you are over selling Lamb. Lamb has not even step foot on the NBA floor in a regular season game and you are hesitating to trade him for an All-Star.

Jeremy Lamb is a smaller version of Rudy Gay. Are you willing to wait 3-5 years for potentially a Rudy Gay? That would be 3-5 more years of mediocrity, which I know you do not want. Key word, potentially.

What we gave up is fair, you will not find another player available this year, but that is why Daryl continues to work small trades to collect assets and send them in a deal altogether. Since we should have cap room next year for a MAX player, Daryl should be able to pay another big time player as well as working himself to collect some more assets throughout this season.

When Lamb said his family moved to Houston and his little sister even enrolled in a new high school, I was scared for him that something like this would happen. Thankfully he's going to a great organization and they'll be able to support each other. Still wanna hug him though. :(

Hardens a great player this is exciting. I'm still a little shocked.
