But we don't know what Lamb's potential is. Thats where your off. Your completely over selling Harden and under selling Lamb. Lamb had all the needed time to develop while we rebuilded in the next 2-5 years. To say "he's no Harden" is misleading being Lamb's just a rookie.

Yes, because last year's team had no room for growth and this year's team has a player who could become one of the best in basketball. We couldn't have traded ANYONE on last years team for a player with Harden's potential. The team has direction now.
Harden is only 23 man, regardless of what lamb becomes if you can trade a expiring and a rookie for a proven all star level player who is only 23 years old you do it. Harden will be good for many many years, and daryl would give up two jermey lambs to get him.
