Morey's strategy: find an asset, keep it until its value peaks or a big opportunity shows up.

At any given moment some teams are less than their sum of talents. Think Lakers. And some teams are equal to the sum of their talents. Last years Rockets. I have a really good idea why teams are less than their sum of talents. I am not sure that they can be greater than their sum of talents though.

Yeap, can't forget about Jeremy Lin. After getting cut by Houston, he went on to bag a $25 million salary after starting 25 games. He's helping a team go 8-8 even though they were expected to be the 2nd worst team in the league. Lin seems to be doing well.

He got injured in March and was having a poor shooting season until recently. :p

Also, Lin doesn't count. The Curse of Morey applies to the 2012-13 season and applies to players who are no longer with the Rockets. Lin's good performance happened in 2011-12 and he has returned to Houston.

It's not so much of a curse by Daryl Morey, but our GM buying players when they are at a lowel level of cost and then turning around and selling it at their peak of talent! Forget assets, Morey treats his team as if its a stock portfolio!

This franchise has always brought out the best in players. It's the spirit of the franchise that makes us who we are. We don't tank and we compete with role players often as starters. Imagine what this franchise could do with some healthy elite players. I think we're on the right path this time.

Goran Dragic is not struggling, he has a mediocre team around him. Lin is young so there is time for improvement, but Dragic would be a substantial upgrade over Lin at the moment, for basically the same contract.

Same can be said for Lowry, although he became a pivotal part of the Harden trade, so no complaints.

Harden> Lee, if i knew Harden was coming Lee would have certainly been expendable.

Scola is the only surprise in my book, i expected him to have a solid year, but given the way the salary cap works cutting him was certainly the smart descision.

The rest of the guys i couldn't care less about losing.

B/c the homer goggles are now off?
Or maybe we were spot on, calling them a team of overachievers.

It just shows that Morey is such a mean GM, sending his assets to bad teams.

The kings are just bad... They are so hard to watch... But the issue isn't chuck or Aaron... It's the rest of the moronic bunch
