Yup, not all dollars are the same right? Frankly, if we had a declining Demarre Carroll we would be awesome.
You're right, Maker has a role in the NBA and I have long sensed that Capela needs his own professional towel holder/twirler.
not the case with celtics last year the irony is rockets got better by removal of gordon and paul hahahha
The Rockets' inability to take care of business against sub .500 teams on the road has plagued them all season. I was hoping that would change since our last stretch, but it looks like more of the same. This is indicative of the poor mindset and focus they've approached this season with in general. It's difficult to just "turn it on" in the playoffs and approach every single game with the required effort and focus needed to advance in the playoffs. We'll see if they can do that this year but I am doubtful.
Are Hayward and Kyrie even best players on that team? Don’t let media fool you, the Celtics are better without both those players. Jayson Tatum is their best player and Kyrie never passes him the ball. He took only 8 shots vs Rockets.. Jaylen Brown also barely touches the ball anymore. Rozier might be better than Kyrie, he’s 75% of the offense plus 100% better defense. It’s no coincidence they have a worse record with those two guys back. Don’t measure greatness by stats. Kyrie before Lebron was really good at leading his team to the lottery. Gordon Hayward leaves Utah and they actually got better. Who would have thought Joe Ingles was better than Hayward.
Frankly I don’t see how anyone can make a viable excuse for the Rockets loss last night against the Magic. That game was truly taken for granted and they let it slip away. I’ll agree it’s only one game and that they are better than that. On the game last night, no excuses. They have themselves to blame regardless of CP3 and Gordon.
I love people who think in terms of averages. On the average, yes, the Rockets are delightfully mediocre. Averages oversimplify the story and are not too important, recency and trends are more important. As it stands, outlying game aside, the past 15 games or so this team has looked good and sharp in spite of missing some rather key pieces.
