Kieff didn't come here when he got bought out last season, i don't know if we didn't want him or he didn't want us, but i don't see him coming here anyway, not that i have much interest in him anyway, rather develop Clark.

Thank you. Would MUCH rather force MDA to play and develop Clark. Clark is almost there, once his mind gets used to the pace of the game and he gets a ton of repetition on that 3pt shot (particularly his slow release) he’s going to be a semi-Tucker for us. Great that he can learn from Tucker.

Well I have good news for you pal. Clark will be our best option because we’re hamstrung as it is.

Having Robert Covington back on the team would be a big pickup.

Remember that time McHale gave KG to the Celtics, wish we could get a favor like that

The Rockets want Covington and the only feasible large salary they can move is Capela; the Wolves at least want a PG for more than this year, and a SG who isn't blah; the Celtics want Capela. Find a way to connect all of those dots. (Then find someone to replace Capela.)

I don't think a 2-team trade to get RoCo to the Rockets will work.

lmao if u think Harden is ever approving a trade of 1 of his best friends, especially for the likes of Teague and Covington...

let’s talk about realistic situations please

Yeah. I had something like that in the Random Trade thread, only I also sent the Wolves BMac and I took back Williams from the Celtics instead of Kanter. As mentioned at CF already, Williams is sort of 'Capela-lite'.

Is Kanter enough of a plus defender that the Rockets wouldn't want to grab someone like Noel too?

All academic of course, but your cited trade is the basic idea.

I think such a trade would improve all 3 teams. It might have been Nook, or heypartner, but they had the idea that, 80 percent of Capela + a stretch 3-4 defender like RoCo, beats 100 percent of Capela and relying on 40 minutes of the Tuckwagon a night. Not that I really want to lose Capela, now that he seems to have figured out this rebounding thing, but what other choices do they have to add a near-star player with a large salary?

I would deal Clint Capela and a Pick for Robert Covington in a nanosecond.

Stein is ready to bang, and Tucker/Covington and Stein would be ROUGH AND TOUGH AND SMART...

We are going small in the playoffs anyways, so who cares.
