Islam is not a religion it is a political movement for power, and it is dangerous to Western Free societies...laws should be enacted to stop oppressive behavior inherent in Islam and other religions. DD
Over the past 14 years at least 52,250 Nigerian Christians have been brutally murdered at the hands of Islamist militants. The persecution facing Christians in Nigeria is extreme and often brutally violent, as Islamic militants and armed bandits attack with increasing impunity. Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), for example, want to eliminate the presence of Christianity in Nigeria. In the same period 18,000 Christian churches and 2,200 Christian schools were set ablaze. Approximately 34,000 moderate Muslims also died in Islamist attacks. The attacks have led to mass forcible displacement. About 5 million Christians have been displaced and forced into Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps within Nigeria and refugee camps. more than 7,600 Nigerian Christians were murdered between January 2021 and June 2022. The outlook for 2023 does not seem any better, with over 1,500 Christians killed now since the beginning of the year. https://www.vaticannews.va/en/churc...killed-in-nigeria-by-islamist-extremists.html
It's both, which makes the issue complicated. There are the spiritual elements (which, by themselves, would be fine and compatible with Western societies), and then there is the supremacist political movement, "political Islam". On the one hand, Western societies (rightly) view freedom of religion as a cornerstone and major accomplishment, but on the other hand, Western societies are not well-prepared to deal with it when one of the religions is not just a spiritual movement, but actually at its core demands toppling the foundations and values of Western societies and replacing them with supremacy of Islam.
Buddhism as a whole is a concept of self realization and working on one self. Not sure if that is peace but it is a concept that is not involving missionaries or prophets....
Having published research and peer reviewed journals, I can tell you that no journal would accept a stat like 600K %, because stats are intended to be interpreted in context and this appears to be a gross cherry-picking or blatant falsifying the point of publishing findings to the world using the scientific method is to replicate such findings. I can tell you with just common sense that the sample size needed (n) to come up with a remotely reasonable figure of statistical significance is in no way satisfied or reasonably reported, and 2, 600k % when interpreted in such a context also sounds r****ded, not to mention no author in their right mind thinks this can be replicated when your on IRB tells you it’s trash , and you don’t disseminate findings to world, going on twitter and propagating stuff like this is again spreading an agenda as opposed to the truth. I believe it may be higher than the mean but you have to apply common sense in areas like this the institutional review board shot it down (and they can’t do that for the reasons he is insinuating by the way, it’s a very rigorous process). All in all, my point from yesterday stands. when no credible source will disseminate findings due to concern they are falsified, they jump to Twitter to type out emojis and 100 characters. The the stupid people jump to their drum. Elon is great, his twats that tweet are not
