it's always been that way but since the 2000s bias are the real deal. Back in my day, refs had a code. the home TEAM got the benefit of the doubt and the stars got their way. Now, it's just the stars and the cities that the league likes.
They should add a 4th ref. One on each end of the goal line. The goal line ref has the toughest position. Too many illegal activity going on around the paint.
Bottom line, the league and it's refs never like the Rockets. They made it their business to call foul on Yao when he would set that pick up top. People wondered why Tracy stop attacking rim. Now they decided not to call those fouls when Harden attacks the rim. Dwight gets beat up on all the time in the paint but no call. Makes no sense
