The one with Thomas Jane? Yeah, I liked that one too...it had a sad feel to it...sad as in for Frank Castle and the sorrow he went through... This new one looks like a shoot'em up type of movie that doesn't look that good
That;s what Punisher is, a shoot 'em up. The first new one was 75% emotions, 25% killing. It should have been vice versa. I think they should do the movie like Sin City. Have several short stories based around Punisher. The first one could be an origin. Then have stories that are shorter and don't have to get too much into a characters emotions to explain why he is doing whate he is. The punisher is a very dark character. The first one was stupid. Remember when he shot the guy in the neck with the bow and arrow? Ha!
This movie looks promising. "Refuse/Resist" by Hatebreed 13. "Lunatic" by Static-X 14. "Days of Revenge" by Ramallah 15. "The Punisher Main Title" by Michael Wandmacher It's Marvel Studios, and so far they're rocking. And lastly, it's directed by an academy-award nominated director who was a kick-boxing champ, so I'm optimistic about the action.
This looks so cheezy and the music playing in the trailer is horrendous! Why did they go away from the latest one? Thomas Jane was great in it and the way he got revenge was awesome. This one looks like a cheezy zombie movie.
