He is. I love tuck but he gets beat off the dribble REGULARLY. Tuck is sort of pat bev status. The aggressiveness makes people assume he never gets beat and he does... A LOT
The new Jazz are nowhere near the 90s era Jazz. If they weren't playing the Rockets I would likely be pulling for them. I don't really know any dirty players on there, they have a young and forward thinking coach (COTY candidate), Mitchell is on track to be a top 3 player in the league (obtained via draft by doing their homework and making the right decision vs tanking or stealing the player), Gobert was a deep first round pick , this is a team that lost their best player before the season started due to super team construction. Have to respect the organization for bouncing back from that. The only thing remaining from the Malone Stockton era are their classless disgusting peasant fans. With that said, I hope Mitchell goes to another franchise if he becomes that good.
Tucker plays much more like an inside post defender than Luc... much thicker, real physical, not afraid of contact. luc is so long and versatile, he has height and length to guard just about anyone but especially adept to covering athletic wings. If we make a strong championship run he will almost certainly play a very integral role. Not sure his importance can be overstated in regards to our championship aspirations.
You can already notice his contribution on defense. Prince Luc didn't have such a high +/- for no reason!
